In today's lesson I was doing the editing for our Film Noir clip, I had to add the backgorund and the music. It was the first time in ages that I had used final cut so I had to go to google to help me add the music in to the clip, which I got some help from Muna. We used the Film Noir jazz music and had to transport it into Itunes from youtube. We used a website to import it to Itunes.
From there we went on final cut pro and went on the music icon and had to find the music that we was using and had to drag it to the bar that had the scenes that we had recorded. We also had to cut part of the music beacuse that certain part didn't fit in the clip and what was going on.
We also had to add the two backgorunds for the femme fatal and the doomed hero. We used google which didnt help me very much because I didnt userstand but then Sir had to come and explain to me how to put a background in and from there I knew what I was doing. We had to go to the background icon and go down and find the custume tool and drag it to the screen and then go to photos and then drag the office background to the custume tool and then move the whole backgorund under the scene that was adding the backgorund.
There was one problem with putting the background in was that the camera kept moving so it looked like the femme fatal was floating in air. And the doomed hero's scene looked like it was moving because of the pan movement in the scene.
